2 c flour
1/2 c confectioners sugar
1 c (2 sticks) butter
1/4 c flour
1/2 t baking powder
2 c sugar
1/2 c frozen orange juice concentrate – thawed
1/4 c lemon juice
1 T AND 1 t lemon peel/zest
1/2 t vanilla
In a medium bowl stir together 2 c flour, 1/2 c confectioners sugar.
Cut in butter that has been cubed until the mixture is crumbly. Pat
the dough into a 9 X 13 nonstick pan. Bake at 350 until set; 10 – 15
In a medium bowl, beat eggs, 1/4 c flour, baking powder, sugar, orange
juice, lemon juice, lemon peel/zest, and vanilla. Pour egg mixture
over hot crust and bake until top is set; 12 – 15 minutes. Mine
actually took 25 minutes until I thought the top looked done. Each
over will be different, of course. Cool. Sprinkle confectioners
sugar over the top and cut into 48 squares.
This is very rich, very lemoney and amazingly good!!! I had to try one!!
