I actually got the framing done!!! Jul 21, ’11 4:02 PM
for everyone
Today I had to be in the basement doing some laundry so I thought I would just make myself stay down there and get these two pieces of stitching framed.  There is a daddy long leg right above my ironing board just a little bit in front of and to the left of where I stand.  And there is a huge one down near the floor by my fabric cabinet. So standing in my craft room doing this was interesting.  I REALLY hate spiders! This is Women Who Behave Rarely Make History

This is Landon’s birth sampler (he turns 2 in September)

Scott is leaving soon to go to a Ted Nugent concert so I will have the rest of the night to stitch.

I am on load number 3 of 6 on laundry – yuck!

Your framing is fantastic Chele. Both stitchings in their frames look wonderful. Congrats on getting your laundry under way and remember, those spideys are way more afraid of you than you are of them. lol They really want to stay out of your way as best they can. :9)

Oh nice chele I really really Love the framing job on Women who Behave! If i didn’t know better I would have thought that was a custom framing job – it is so perfect!Leave the Daddy Long Legs alone 🙂 They can’t hurt you at all and they do eat flies and other insects. They are helpful friendly spiders. They are the only ones I encourage into my house.

You picked the most perfect frame for “Women who Behave…”! I love it!

Everyone loves that frame but it really wasn’t so perfect at all. It came as a standing sideways frame with a flip out back to insert a 3 X 5 picture into this white cardboard insert. I had to cut the back off and not use it at all. Then I had to rip the white cardboard border frame off the glass. I used the glass which was 5 X 7 to cut my core board. Then once I laced the back it actually was a little bit too thick for the frame. But I taped a piece of light card board to the back with strapping tape so it would hold. So if you see the back, it is bowed outward because of the extra fabric laced down. So it looks perfect from the front but I really had to work to make it work from the back. LOL!

@Mel, I actually counted threads top and bottom, and side to side so they are almost perfectly spaced from each other. That is why it looks so centered – it is only off by 1 thread and I can’t remember which side it was even.

Chele I think you took more care with that framing than most framers!
